Insisting on NY

These are a couple of sketches that I did in watercolors after my visit to NYC. I'm not particularly fond of these, but I thought I might share them anyway, now that we are in NYC post day.








Plus this one I copied from the Vertical New York photo book, a cool one if I may tell :)

It's a cool city, but people is quite stressed there! When I was done with NY I travelled north to Alberta and it was like paradise there :D

I don't know exactly why, but colors and I do not get along :( This is a second try to draw Asha Greyjoy, from A song of Fire and Ice, in digital colors. In my first one, I used just plain tones and got no volumes. I've tried to improve that in this one, but still, I'm not totally in with the effect ..Luckily, I still got the hang on quick sketching :)
