Castelo Branco
Alvaro Carnicero and I were invited by our friends at Urban Sketchers Portugal to join them in the Encontro Ibérico de urban sketchers de Castelo Branco. We had a great time. We even sketched too XD
And, with these, I finish my Stillman & Birn Gamma landscape sketchbook and it's back to the old format!

... But we are not men
Missandei: Valar morghulis.
Daenerys Targaryen: Yes. All men must die, but we are not men. Missandei, from HBO TV show A Game of Thrones, based on G.R.R. Martin's books. Although she plays the role perfectly, this one, I imagined as a 10 years old. Probably because in the books she was.

Dual sketching
Alvaro Carnicero and I sketched this together last sunday during the Encontro Ibérico urban sketchers at Castelo Branco (Portugal). It's a cool mix of both styles, I think :)

If it's a boy ...
Gilly, from HBO TV show A Game of Thrones, based on G.R.R. Martin's books. Yet another character I like more in the show than in the books.

A naked man has few secrets ...
"In my family we say: A naked man has few secrets; a flayed man, none."
Lord Roose Bolton, from HBO TV show A Game of Thrones, based on G.R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice. Creepy guy, specially in the books. My own theory is that the Boltons are descendents from that lord commander of the Guard that married a White Walker and had to be put down by the Starks in Ol' Nan's tales. Think about it: pale, blue, blue eyes, all the thing with the leeches and blood, cruel, a sadist, and his bastard son has a thing for corpses- I guess we'll see ... someday

Queen in the North
... to think that I spent 2 seasons disliking her because I thought she would eventually be revealed as Jeyne Westerling ... Talisa Stark, from HBO TV show A Game of Thrones, based on G.R.R. Martin's A song of Fire and Ice.

A church in stone
Yet another of my li'l local hiking days. This time, I did not finish it boot-less, but I was dumb enough to trust that the sunny day would last and went there in t-shirt and shorts, so I brought home a major cold. At least, I was able to finally see the church stone of Bobastro (like 40 minutes away from home by car). Worth the cold! Stillman & Birn gamma series and Schminke watercolors

I count no day as lived ...
"I count no day as lived unless I have loved a woman, slain a foeman, and eaten a fine meal.." Daario Naharys
From HBO TV show A Game of Thrones, based on G.R.R. Martin's saga A Song of Fire and Ice

... and still more Neverland
I sort of guessed OUAT season 2 would end like this, but I had no idea on the background, so after the season ending I added it up to my original sketch. Stillman & Birn Gamma A4, but Letraset markers instead of watercolors in this one.

Looking up!
One of my first tries at (poorly) drawing perspective, following the advice of my friend Berta. This one was sketched during the workshop De Vuelta con el Cuaderno in Teruel (Spain). We had such a great time!

I had forgotten to post this sketch from the wonderful day that Alvaro Carnicero and our fellow sketchers organized in Cordoba some months ago.
