The Rise of Kyoshi: glacier fight

 

This is my favourite chapter from the book The Rise of Kyoshi (from Avatar, the Last Airbender), plus I got to practise drawing ice, water, seabed rocks and a stormy sky. Below is my process, too.

I don't know exactly why, but colors and I do not get along :( This is a second try to draw Asha Greyjoy, from A song of Fire and Ice, in digital colors. In my first one, I used just plain tones and got no volumes. I've tried to improve that in this one, but still, I'm not totally in with the effect ..Luckily, I still got the hang on quick sketching :)
