Why is it so bloody hard to draw small kids?

It's actually hard to pick a fav character in Adventure Time, but if I had to choose just one --- Figured out the reference for the second sketch, right?

A perfect spot to draw with a sanguine Pitt marker (plus Cotman watercolors, too). Stillman & Birn Gamma pocketbook.
