Been there, drawn that

Not without dinner and some flowers, mind you :P :D

My first sketch at Lisbon, from the terrace of my hotel, drinking a strawberry daiquiri while the daylight was fading. It's actually a miracle I managed to draw something :D

I was at a notebook workshop a few weeks ago and, after we finished, my friend Inma proposed to draw something in other person's style. Obviously, I chose hers. This is a corner of El Pilar Square, at Zaragoza.

The cathedral ceiling was quite nice, but you could not take pictures, not even without flash, and they were pretty annoying telling us to move away from here and there ... Not pleasant, all in all. Guess that's what happens when you care more about selling merchandise than about the place itself :P

I know it's a replica, but it was nice to draw it, anyway. From Teruel Dinopolis Theme Park (I would not say museum, exactly :P)

The Lovers from Teruel is a classic story that they reenact every year in the city with local actors.

So you thought I was done with AGoT? No way, at less until my notebook is completely finished! This is the book character I hate the most and would completely destroy before killing him. The actor is really good, he IS Lord Frey. Yuck!

One of my Teruel watercolor from "De vuelta con el cuaderno" 3rd edition

I was drawing at Nanjing Road when I caught the attention of a 5 years old kid. After she was patient enough to wait there for 10 minutes to see what I was doing, I asked her mother (by signs, obviously) if she wanted me to draw her, and she happily said yes. She was one of the best models I've had, even though she was a tad serious :)
