Sketching at Portugal

Some oldies. Portugal was the first country I visited when I was very small and I still like it like the first day :)

Castelo Branco

Alvaro Carnicero and I were invited by our friends at Urban Sketchers Portugal to join them in the Encontro Ibérico de urban sketchers de Castelo Branco. We had a great time. We even sketched too XD
And, with these, I finish my Stillman & Birn Gamma landscape sketchbook and it's back to the old format!

A popular square in Lisbon, sketched in 10 minutes during Matthew Brehm workshop in the second USk symposium. I like it simple :)

Gate of the merman

In Castelo de la Pena (Castle on the Rock, Sintra) I found this awesome statue guarding the gate and, of course, I had to draw it. Stillman & Birn gamma and watercolors.

Another old one: Portugal dos pequeninhos

From my second notebook. This is Portugal dos pequeninhos, a park in Coimbra where they've got Portugal main buildings built at small scale. Cool place, if you ask me!

Pavilhao Chines

My favorite bar in Lisbon. Huge, and every corner is packed with the most amazing things. I could draw there for days!!
