Malagrafica: Stefano Faravelli

Preparándonos para la nueva edición, unos apuntillos de la charla del año pasado de Stefano (y de Patrizia de intérprete, que se ganó el cielo XD). La serpiente que está bien dibujada obviamente no es mía, sino de él :P

20 years with Harry Potter

So it's the perfect moment to upload the card I sketched for my nieces last Xmas (so I can keep my position as the cool auntie one more year). I included an old transparent slide and Tippex to do put the snow in and out.

Then and now

We went to draw yesterday to the Firefighters station at Martiricos (Malaga) and they've got the coolest old Benz truck stationed there. And, of course, a bunch of new ones, but they keep coming and going, so one has got to be fast (or lucky) to draw them in a go. Stillman & Birn gamma A5 and Pitt Sanguine

Endurance

Or Huevember #19. I always found little difference between the true story of Shackelton and a Jules Verne's novel. Needless to say, I loved the IMAX flick. I used a real B&W photo of the ship for reference in this one. And Sketchbook for Android.

Who are you gonna call?

Seen yesterday at Malaga Animacomics. And it's got a real license plate too, so I'm guessing it can drive around :D
A couple of years ago I saw a cosplayer as the Doctor and he was carrying around a TARDIS.
Some fan boys are just THAT  cool

Drawing in a single stroke ...

... actually, without lifting the pen from the paper, which is way easier. I sketched this sometime ago, as suggested in Veronica Lawlor's One Drawing a Day. In my case, it was One Drawing that Day. I really need to become rich and quit my job or something :(

Anyway, this was in my cupboard, straight from Shanghai (and el Cairo, possibly)

My presentation at Castelo Branco

This is a short presentation on how my travel sketchbooks have evolved since the very first one until now (2013). I made it for the Encontro Iberico UsK at Portugal.

A rural house where we were lodged this summer had the most amazing collection of old photo cameras ...
