In Hangzhou even the Starbucks looks chinese. And they bring you some cookies for free at noon!

A girl at Nanjing Road

I was drawing at Nanjing Road when I caught the attention of a 5 years old kid. After she was patient enough to wait there for 10 minutes to see what I was doing, I asked her mother (by signs, obviously) if she wanted me to draw her, and she happily said yes. She was one of the best models I've had, even though she was a tad serious :)

Time to post some watercolor from my latest trip!
This is Hangzhou, apparently one of China fav spots for the locals. I don't really get it, it's simply a huge park around a lake. There are interesting spots and nice places and you can rent a bike at the Youth Hostel to move around, but I've seen much better places in China. In any case, nice for an easy day around
